Transcripts provide a comprehensive record of a student’s academic progress, including credit for courses that were transferred from other institutions, credit earned by examination, and degrees earned at Wentworth Institute of Technology. The transcript provides final grades for courses taken at Wentworth and through cross-registration at a member institution of the Colleges of the Fenway. Grades for courses taken at other institutions are not listed on your Wentworth transcript. In order to obtain this information, contact the institution that offered these courses. Transcripts report academic work at all levels (non-degree, undergraduate, and graduate).
GTE Sylvania Technical School/Wentworth Technical School
Wentworth Institute of Technology is also the repository of records for the Wentworth Technical School and GTE Sylvania Technical School.
Requests for archived records prior to 1985 are normally fulfilled within 3-5 business days and cannot be emailed to students or third parties. Requests using the Transcript on Demand web service can only be mailed using USPS First Class mail, express shipping at an additional cost or picked-up at the Student Service Center at 550 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115-5998.
Official Transcripts - Policy/Procedure Change - Effective May 1, 2015
As of May 1, 2015, we will no longer accept mailed, emailed or faxed requests from students and other colleges or third parties. All requests for electronic, paper delivery and pick-up requests must come directly from the student/former student using the Transcript on Demand® from Credentials eScrip-Safe website: www.iwantmytranscript.com/wit. Electronic transcripts are delivered in PDF format by SCRIP-SAFE International, a leading provider of secure electronic transcripts. The transcript is held in their secure server until the recipient logs in to retrieve the transcript, which they will be instructed to do by an email from SCRIP-SAFE.
Official transcripts are produced by the Registrar's Office upon request by the student. Requests are normally fulfilled within 1-2 business days, though requests for records prior to 1985 require additional processing time.
There is no cost for official transcripts.
The student may request that the transcripts be held until final grades for the current semester are available; all transcript requests for current students are automatically held when the request is made during or after the last week of classes for a semester.
Current students may print "unofficial transcripts" via Leopardweb. Note: The Registrar's office does not produce unofficial transcripts.
How to create a Transcripts on Demand®account
1. First time requestors will need to create an account with Transcripts on Demand by selecting Wentworth Institute of Technology and click on the Sign-up button.
2. You will then be directed to create a personal profile and user ID/password which you will use to place future orders.
3. You will be prompted to complete a signed consent form at the end of the order (one time only).
4. The transcript is held on the SCRIP-SAFE server for a maximum of 24 hours ONLY until the recipient logs in to retrieve the transcript. Recipients are instructed via email from SCRIP-SAFE there is a transcript to be retrieved.

Before you email transcripts, we strongly recommend you check with the transcript recipient to confirm they accept electronic transcript delivery.
Electronic transcripts can be delivered to any valid email address via secure certified PDF.
Electronic transcripts are available for students who were enrolled in 1985 or later via https://iwantmytranscript.com/wit.
Pick-up requests at the Student Service Center using Transcripts On Demand
Transcripts can be held at the Student Service Center for pickup during regular business hours. Please bring your Wentworth ID or photo identification. Please note if someone other than the student will pick up transcripts in person and photo identification is required.
1. Students/former students will need to log into the Transcripts on Demand website: https://iwantmytranscript.com/wit
2. When asked if the transcript is to be sent to you, please select "Yes" and click "Continue". On the next screen, select the option "Continue Postal".
3. Enter a valid mailing address and click "Continue".
4. In the Shipping options list, please select "Student Pick-up".
Hard-copy delivery of official transcripts using Transcripts on Demand
Delivery of official hard-copies of official transcripts using Transcript on Demand will be mailed via USPS First Class mail or express shipping at an additional cost.
Express Shipping Information - University Express Mail Services (UEMS)
If you require rush shipment of your official transcripts, please visit the University Express Mail Services (UEMS) website at https://study.eshipglobal.com.
Transcripts ordered using University Express Mail Services are shipped via FedEx. The requestor is responsible for shipping charges, which must be paid by credit card (Discover, MasterCard or Visa). The card will be charged upon requesting the service.
Note: Browser Compatibility: The UEMS website is most compatible with the following web browsers: Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
Note: Incorrect or incomplete credit card or address information may result in a delay of the mailing of transcripts. Please be sure to review your information before you submit it.
In the "Sender" field, please enter the following as this information will directly notify the sender via email to prepare the package and allow us to print the pre-paid shipping slip.
