Sanction Assistance Page

Thank you for visiting the Office of Community Standards Sanctioning page.  This page will help you complete portions of your sanctions and help to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about sanctions.  Please review the information carefully.  If you continue to have questions, please contact your original hearing officer or your Resident Director.

Please keep in mind that Sanctions are mandatory. Therefore, every student is expected to complete his or her sanction in the timeline required. Students who do not complete their sanction on time are subject to further disciplinary action.  Registration holds are placed on the accounts of students who do not complete sanctions, therefore prohibiting them from registering for future classes.  To avoid additional disciplinary charges, students are encouraged to take their sanctions seriously and complete them in a timely manner.

Our Forms:

Sanction Tracking Form - in order to demonstrate that you have completed your sanctions and to prevent holds on your account, you must turn this form into the Office of Community Standards.  This form serves a dual purpose in that it  is both instructional (providing you with information about where and how to sign up for various sanctions) and it allows you to collect signatures from the appropriate offices to verify the completion of your sanctions.

Community Service Options - unless instructed otherwise by your hearing officer, your community service can be completed at any social service agency.  The list provided are agencies which we have identified and have agreed to taking mandated volunteers.  You may, however choose an agency not on this list to complete your service hours.

Character and Self Awareness Form - if you were sanctioned to complete this form, please download the attachment, complete the questions and turn it into the Office of Community Standards by the deadline outlined in your letter.  Please pay special attention to question nine, which asks you to complete a separate essay.

Personal Ethics Workshop - if you are sanctioned to complete this form, please download the attachment, complete the outlined essay's and turn each into the Office of Community Standards by the deadline outlined in your letter.

Directions to Online Alcohol Course - if you are sanctioned to the Online Alcohol Course, you must download the form which directs to the appropriate website and gives you log on information.  You must complete all three modules of the course and pass with a grade of 75% or better to complete this requirement.
