Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
Wentworth Institute of Technology acts in accordance with FERPA. A student’s disciplinary history is considered a part of his/her educational record and is therefore protected by FERPA. Information regarding discipline cases, including names of involved parties, hearing decision, and imposed sanctions, cannot be shared with the general public. Students who wish to have their disciplinary records viewed for employment or U.S. Military purposes must sign a waiver, giving the Institute permission to share information. Discipline records may be viewed in the Dean of Students Office. Making copies of discipline records is not permitted.
