Welcome First Year Parents!
 
Congratulations on your student’s acceptance to Wentworth. You are about to embark on a very exciting part of your son or daughter’s life, their first year of college. The information found within these pages will help you start off on the right foot. 

The first thing you will want to do is make sure your student registers for New Student Orientation (a.k.a. Summer Orientation). If your student hasn’t done so, he/she should access their LConnect account by visiting http://lconnect.wit.edu and logging in using his/her username and password. Once in LConnect, simply click on the “New Students” tab and click on “Register for New Student Orientation”.

On the navigation bar above there is a drop-down menu called Parents & Families. The menu contains links with information to help you and your student effectively transition to Wentworth. Please pay particular attention to the First Year Student Checklist. The checklist includes many dates and deadlines important to your student’s transition to Wentworth that need to be addressed in the coming months.
