Chester W. Tudbury came to Wentworth in 1918 as Secretary
to the Faculty and Registrar. Prior to his service at Wentworth
he was the principal of a secondary school. This able educator
and administrator served Wentworth for nearly three decades.
During his long tenure at Wentworth he served as assistant
to Frederick E. Dobbs, principal of Wentworth Institute, as
head of the Mathematics Department, Supervisor of Instruction
and Acting Principal. He retired from Wentworth in 1952 after
dedicating his life to the welfare of the Institute.

- Tudbury Hall is currently a Wentworth dormitory
and houses an auditorium.
- Before Tudbury Hall was purchased by Wentworth in
1955, the building served as a dormitory for the Gordon
College of Theology. Upon its acquisition, the building
was initially named Wentworth Hall. The name was changed
to Tudbury Hall in 1967.
