Season In Review
The final record may say 2-12 and there may not have been a post-season appearance for the Wentworth women’s team, this past season can definitely be used a building block for future campaigns.
A slow start to the season saw the Leopards drop their first four matches. However, a 6-3 win over Regis not only gave Wentworth its first victory of the season, it also snapped a 10-match losing streak that had dated back to the 2006 season.
The streak would not last long, though, as the Leopards would drop their next five matches, all but eliminating them from post-season play. A 9-0 win over Newbury would snap the losing streak, but Wentworth would finish the season with three losses and would miss the post-season for the second consecutive season.
Individually, sophomore Lydia Caserta and freshman Liz Dropo each notched three wins in singles play for Wentworth. Four players picked up a pair of wins for the Leopards, including senior Ivana Manobianco, who was the co-recipient of the Eugenia Louise Sweeney Scholar-Athlete Award.
In doubles play, Bradnt and Alex Dupnik were Wentworth's most victorious tndem, picking up two wins on the season.

Looking Ahead
The program has much to look forward to as there was only one senior on the squad and a strong group of underclassmen should return for 2008. This should help put the Leopards in a position to make a run at post-season play.

Schedule
Wentworth plays a 13-match
schedule in the fall, including 10 CCC matches against such
teams as Salve Regina, Colby-Sawyer, Endicott, and Roger Williams.
Matches against Emerson, Emmanuel, and Newbury highlight the non-league portion of the schedule.
