Program of Studies
Leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree (with the Associate in Applied
Science degree option)
Students enrolled in the Management of Technology
(BMT) program are exposed to the functional areas of management and may acquire
the various managerial and analytical skills necessary to successfully administer
human, natural, and technological resources within an organization. A concentrated
study in financial analysis, marketing principles, operations management, organizational
behavior, and the legal aspects of business is introduced in this program. Students
are required to satisfactorily complete two cooperative work semesters as described
in the curriculum.
Graduates of the Management of Technology (BMT)
program may seek entry-level management positions in sales, production management,
marketing management, or new product development. They may also pursue positions
as field service engineers, product support specialists or quality assurance
analysts. It is possible for students to pursue graduate degrees in business,
law, public administration and technical related fields.
Individuals with an associate degree in science,
engineering or technology, or a minimum of sixty-four (64) semester credit
hours may apply to transfer into the Management of Technology (BMT) program.
