Why WIT Co-op
and not an Internship?
|
WIT Co-op |

paid position.
• Involves students in full-time job, generally 40 hours per week.
• Grants full semester of credit.
• Provides students with their own WIT Career Center Counselor.
• Builds professional relationships through a realistic, on-the-job work
experience.
|
|
Internship
|
• May not be a
paid position.
• Provides only 20 hours a week (or less) of work.
• Usually offers limited support from the institution.
• Broadens the scope of student's career.
