Co-op

Wentworth Institute of Technology's Cooperative Education (Co-op) program allows students to receive credit for working in the fields of their interest. Co-op provides an opportunity of third and fourth year students to utilize their laboratory and classroom skills and successfully apply it in a practical work environment.

All BMT majors have numerous fields from which they can choose to work, to satisfy their two semesters of full-time Co-op requirement. Students are urged to consider companies that match their interests and the program concentration. Companies that accept BMT Co-op students are numerous and varied, and include those in the fields of high tech, finance, public relation, banking, accounting and education.

Students who participate in the Co-op program have the enviable advantage of possible future employment with those organizations that provide them with their co-op experience.
